Since its inception in 2014, the awards have maintained a strong emphasis on ethical practices and neutral judgment, ensuring that work is evaluated solely based on its merit.
A unique aspect of the Kyoorius Creative Awards is its non-hierarchical award structure. Deviating from the conventional gold, silver, and bronze tiers, the awards celebrate outstanding work with the Blue Elephant, a symbol of creative excellence.

Since its inception, the Kyoorius Creative Awards has recognised and rewarded creative excellence in Indian Advertising at a global standard. The directive for 2024, is to galvanise the community to GiveBack to the industry that has given them so much.
To kickstart the initiative, Kyoorius GivesBack, For every entry that does not make it into the First List (i.e. beyond the First Round of judging) at the 2024 Kyoorius Creative Awards, Kyoorius will GiveBack 50% of the entry fee to the entrant.
A deep dive into the global awards ecosystem revealed that over 75% of all entries in any award show go unrewarded or are literally, rejected in the first round of judging itself. This deters numerous advertising professionals from even entering. This year, Kyoorius will GiveBack to the over 70%.
The Kyoorius Creative Awards itself sees only 18% to 24% of entries graduating to the First List, or the entries that fulfill the judging criteria of the first round of judging at the Kyoorius Creative Awards. The First List, hence, forms the pool of entries that have the potential to win Elephants.

In a highlight of the event, Kyoorius presented the illustrious cricketer Sachin Tendulkar with the esteemed Master of Creativity award. This accolade celebrated Tendulkar’s remarkable journey as cricket’s first mega-brand, recognizing his pioneering role in forming long-term brand associations, endorsements, and impactful storytelling throughout his illustrious career.Tendulkar’s achievements in the world of cricket are well-documented, but his contributions to the realm of creativity and brand-building are equally impressive. His ability to create and sustain a powerful personal brand has inspired countless athletes and public figures, making him a fitting recipient of the Master of Creativity award.The presentation of this award to Sachin Tendulkar further emphasized the Kyoorius Creative Awards’ commitment to honoring exceptional individuals who have demonstrated unparalleled creativity, innovation, and influence in their respective fields.
Kyoorius’s 2024 Creative Awards received an impressive number of entries, with over 3600 submissions from more than 280 entrants—marking the highest participation in the event’s history. Following a rigorous online judging process, only 1060 entries progressed to the First List, showcasing the high standards of creativity and innovation within India’s marketing communications industry.
This year, the awards also introduced the GiveBack initiative, which aimed to provide added value to entrants by offering a rewards system based on submission fees. Participants could redeem points for various benefits such as training programs, advertising credits, or international award show entries.
Furthermore, Kyoorius collaborated with Indian Creative Women to present the Purple Elephant award, recognizing work that addresses and impacts gender inequality in India through creative thinking. To reinforce this commitment, a new judging guideline was implemented to filter out work that objectifies women, perpetuates harmful gender stereotypes, or adheres to unrealistic beauty standards.

The judging process is transparent and involves both Indian and international creative minds, fostering a diverse and global perspective. In partnership with Indian Creative Women, the awards also feature the Zee Equality Award, which honours work that positively impacts gender inequality in India.
The 2024 Kyoorius Creative Awards featured an extensive jury panel consisting of five dozen jurors, who brought their expertise and knowledge to evaluate the entries across various disciplines and categories. These seasoned professionals represented a diverse cross-section of the creative industry, ensuring a fair and comprehensive evaluation process.
Winners of the Kyoorius Creative Awards received a Blue Elephant trophy, recognition in the Kyoorius Awards Annual, and the right to use the Blue Elephant mark. Nominees are also acknowledged with a Baby Elephant trophy and a feature in the annual showcase.

Indian Creative Women (ICW), in collaboration with Kyoorius, proudly announced the winner of the prestigious Nargis Wadia Award for 2024, co-sponsored by Colgate and Snapchat. This award is dedicated to the remarkable legacy of Nargis Wadia, a creative trailblazer who left an indelible mark on India’s advertising landscape.
Nargis Wadia was a true pioneer, becoming the first woman to launch a full-service creative agency in India. Under her visionary leadership, InterPublicity achieved tremendous success, garnering over 70 awards and nurturing the careers of numerous advertising luminaries. Her groundbreaking achievements extended beyond the agency, as she became the first woman and youngest professional to be elected President of the Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) in 1976.
The Nargis Wadia Award serves as a testament to her extraordinary accomplishments and aims to inspire and empower women in the creative industry. By recognizing and celebrating exceptional talent and innovation, ICW and Kyoorius strive to foster a more inclusive and equitable environment for women in advertising, marketing, and communications.

Tanima Kohli, Group Head (Copy) at Enormous, has emerged as the winner of a highly coveted prize—a fully sponsored trip to the prestigious Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
