The AIBC UAE Emerging Tech Awards began with a bang on the first night, with an assortment of IT and blockchain luminaries gathering at the Intercontinental Hotel Dubai Festival City. The AIBC UAE Emerging Tech Awards was co-hosted by Olga Yaroshevsky and Mark Anthony Borg, sponsored by Fastex, celebrated innovation, success, and generosity.
Over 300 prominent guests attended the gala event, which provided invaluable networking opportunities and served as a platform to recognise exceptional accomplishments in a variety of fields. Among the evening’s highlights were the awards, which recognised groundbreaking ideas and individuals driving the future of technology and blockchain. Throughout the occasion, violinists and LED dancers delivered captivating performances.
The AIBC UAE Emerging Tech Awards winners represented a wide range of categories, demonstrating the industry’s breadth and depth of innovation. From AI education to blockchain solutions, each prize recognised brilliance and innovative projects. Notable wins included Marcello Mari for Best AI Educator 2024, Cyber Secure Gen AI for Best AI Project 2024, and Sui Network for Best Blockchain Solution 2024, among others.
The AIBC Eurasia Awards offered a varied range of categories, each highlighting extraordinary achievements to the blockchain and gaming industries. Other prominent categories were “Web3 Gaming Leader of the Year,” “Crypto/Web3 Media of the Year,” and “Best Metaverse Project 2024.”
Sui named 2024 Blockchain Solution of the Year at the AIBC Eurasia Awards. The Layer-1 blockchain that has undergone spectacular growth and recognition since its mainnet debut in 2023, received the top honour at the Eurasia Awards. Other nominees for the 2024 award included Near Protocol and 1inch Network.
Sui’s award comes at a time when the blockchain industry is rapidly expanding and gaining prominence. The Sui ecosystem has gained substantial traction in recent months. The layer 1 just topped $600 million in Total Value Locked (TVL), securing a place in the top ten of DeFi ecosystems. Sui’s commitment to pushing the frontiers of blockchain technology, as seen by recent collaborations and expansions, has cemented its place as the industry’s leading player.

The Fils and Sui Foundation collaboration was just named the 2024 Best Social effect Project at the AIBC Eurasia Awards, which recognise exceptional contributions to innovation and technology having a beneficial societal effect.
The relationship between Sui Foundation and enterprise digital platform Fils enables businesses from many industries to incorporate sustainable and climate action into their business models. The cooperation uses Sui’s blockchain to monitor carbon credits inside the Fils network.
It was revealed that Sui’s advanced blockchain was chosen due to its speed, scalability, and emphasis on sustainability. Similarly, its zkLogin feature, which allows for easy access to cryptocurrency wallets, was highlighted.

he gala awards celebrated innovative enterprises and concepts that have transformed the landscape. Towards the end of the evening, an art auction was held, with revenues benefiting a range of humanitarian projects and expeditions organised by the SiGMA Foundation. One of the evening’s most anticipated events was the AIBC Eurasia auction, hosted by BetConstruct, with revenues benefiting SiGMA Group’s philanthropic arm, the SiGMA Foundation. With seven beautiful artworks, the auction enthralled guests with its varied mix of paintings and sculptures. Encouraged by the legendary auctioneer Rick Goddard, passionate buyers drove prices well above their first offers.
The auction concluded with an intense round of bidding, with the total revenues raised totaling to €15,700, demonstrating the participants’ generosity and dedication to helping the SiGMA Foundation. One winning bidder deserved special notice for donating one of the paintings to the SiGMA Foundation and another to one of the event’s visitors, Dr. W. Scott Stornetta, who is widely regarded as the co-founder of blockchain technology.
The judges were carefully selected from a group of industry professionals, veterans, and sector business leaders. This distinguished panel of the judges included industry veterans and business leaders such as Olga Yaroshevsky (Ph.D. and AIBC’s Lead Producer), Pavel Matveev (CEO at Wirex), Giacomo Arcaro (renowned seed investor and Ethereum evangelist), Pawel Laskarzewski (Co-Founder of NIFTABLES), David Orban (Managing Advisor of Beyond Enterprizes), Giovanni Casagrande (Founder of FOMO Crew) and Mark Mueller-Eberstein (CEO of Adgetec Corporation).
